Het liefst zouden we teruggaan naar vorig jaar,
toen alles nog goed was,
maar gisteren is voorbij, een droom voor altijd.
Als we uit die droom ontwaken,
zal hij er niet meer zijn en blijkt het leven zelf een nachtmerrie geworden.
Alles in ons schreeuwt uit protest tegen het zinloze van deze dood.
